Music research
Our music research trip through northern Namibia was a profound and enriching experience. Over ten days, we traveled through the country with our entire creative team in two cars, immersing ourselves in the diverse cultures and traditions of the Herero, Damara, Kavango, and Wambo. Direct interaction with the local people allowed us to experience and understand their stories, customs, and perspectives firsthand.
We met a variety of talented artists, including singers, choirs, and dancers, who impressed us with their passion and cultural richness. Each encounter brought unexpected and intense experiences that had a lasting impact on our work , People of Song . Particularly impressive was the warmth and openness with which the people in the various villages welcomed us and allowed us to share in their lives. This trip was not only a source of inspiration but also a valuable opportunity to experience and appreciate Namibia's cultural diversity up close.
